The place was busy for the holiday.  We enjoyed our meal.
First, the chips.  Not a complaint...more like a bewilderment: Who brings out a whole basket of crushed chips? Like the ones you get at the end of the chip's bag. The whole point of eating chips with salsa is have a big chip to dip.  Hard to do that with crumbs.
Next, the food.  We had the wings and fajitas.  Enjoyable with flavor.  I typically get the wings when we go Mexican.  These are what you would expect.
The service.  The gentleman was nice and helpful.  I must have been thirsty that day because he filled my cup three times.

Stopped by for lunch.  Ordered the shrimp quesadilla off of the lunch menu and it comes with a bed of rice.  Food came out super fast.  Perfect for those who may have a strictly timed lunch.  Meal cost roughly the same price as fast food joints.  Good taste, have had better but I also have had a lot worse.  Great for lunch!

    La Ha is La Ha.

All of them have the same menu & the food varies depending on the day. The service also varies, but for the most part, no complaints with the staff.

Sometimes your chips are fresh, sometimes they're stale.
Sometimes your taco has a lot of flavor, sometimes it's doesn't.

If you want amazing, authentic Mexican food, La Ha is not going to be your first choice.

If you want decent Americanized Mexican food, then come to La Ha.

I'm from California so I find it difficult to find good Mexican food that I'm used to here in South Carolina. Where I'm from we have great Taquerias all over the place with tons of authentic and specialized options. My favorite dish in California is called Nacho Fries or Steak Fries in some places. I couldn't find them out here anywhere.
Well I mentioned this to my waiter here named Edwardo and he told me they could make me some Nacho Fries here even though they aren't on the menu. Nacho Fries, if anyone is wondering, are any style nachos, but instead of tortilla chips you have french fries. Same toppings, but fries instead of chips. Ask for them and if you like nachos and french fries you will love this dish. So Edwardo got them to make me some Nacho Fries and I was reminded of my old home in California. He was very attentive as well and made us feel like he cared about our experience all the way around. I told his manager which I rarely do and am thankful for servers like him who go the extra mile.
So If you are craving some good Mexican food head down to this place and be sure to ask for Nacho Fries. They aren't on the menu, but they will make them if you just tell them you want any style nachos, but you want french fries instead of tortilla chips. If you ask for Edwardo he knows what they are and will hook you up. Thanks La Hacienda for making my day and thank you Edwardo for taking pride in what you do and going that extra mile to see your customers have a great experience.

I've always been a fan of any La Hacienda. The service and the food are always good. There's never a wait to be seated at this location. The food also comes out quickly. Last night, I ordered the Texas dip and a burrito with cheese on top and rice/beans on the side. I enjoyed the meal. I also had a margarita. It was ok. Nothing to really rave about. I wish the margaritas didn't taste so syrupy though. I need to explore more of the drink menu. Maybe I will find something I like more.
